Core
Glute bridge march
Holding a bridge and lifting one foot at a time — challenges your hips to stay level.
Intermediate Low impact
How to do it
- Lift into a glute bridge: knees bent, feet flat, hips raised in line with shoulders and knees.
- Keeping your hips high and level, lift one foot a few centimetres off the floor.
- Place it down and lift the other.
- Keep alternating, then lower your hips to finish.
Form tips
- Move slowly so your hips do not rock.
Common mistakes
- Hips dropping on the side of the lifted foot.
Easier and harder
Make it easier
Hold the bridge without lifting your feet.
Make it harder
Straighten the lifted leg, or pause each lift for two seconds.
